ClearCoat U-Sil

The NTC Clearcoat U-Sil series consists of a 1-component coating system, which requires stove enamel at 160°C. It offers a fantastic anti-corrosion behavior, mainly on light metals like aluminum and magnesium. The cured coatings are UV-stable and can therefore be used indoors and outdoors.

The outstanding corrosion properties on aluminum substrates without prior chromate (Cr VI-free) are tested and certified. With a thickness of only 5 to 10 microns the coating holds at least 3,000 h salt spray test without any change or damage. Besides the good corrosion resistance the coatings in this series also feature the "Easy to Clean" (hydrophobic) effect.
